Modaka Hasta: Who has the Modaka in his Hand

Chamara Karna: Whose Large Ears are like Fans 

Vilambita Sudra: Who Wears a Long Sacred Thread

Vamana Roopa: Who is Short in Stature 

Maheshvara Putra: Son of Sri Maheshvara (Lord Shiva)

Vighna Vinayaka: The Remover of the Obstacles of His Devotees

Paada Namaste: Prostrations at the Feet of Sri Vighna Vinayaka.

Vidhya Arambham: Beginning of studies

Siddhir: Accomplishment

Bhavatnume Sada: Come to Existence.

Meaning:

Namasthetu Mahamaye: Salutation to the Mahamaye(Goddess Mahalakshmi)

Sripethe Surapoojithe: One who resides on Sripethe and is Worshipped by the Suras(Devatas)

Shankh Chakra Gada Haste: One Who Has Shankh(Conch), Chakra(Disc) and Gada(Mace) in her hands
